But you can set up a dedicated server on a lan. Considering how long it was in ea you d think a simple lan connection feature would be present. And now 12 player versus survival mode too now you can be the zeds. Then once the game is in the lobby the other machine running the game can go to multiplayer lan and the game will show up there.
