Jun 28 2017 8 38am. What does it take to run a dedicated server. To create a private match in killing floor 2 all you need to do is add your friends to the game and matchmake. I meant i want to host a private game of a custom map with my friends.

Also there are guides to make your own server and put the maps you want if you didn t want to go into match making or server browser. You can add your friends to the game using the in game menu.
